
1997-1998 Values. These miniature vehicles were initially intended for use by car and truck dealerships and manufacturers to promote the sale of their products. Promotionals were intended for distribution only during the model year of the vehicle they represent. Vehicle manufacturers such as Buick and Chrysler contracted with the toy manufacturers for the production of promotionals. Most promotionals became toys as soon as they were acquired by children.
