The Martial Arts Movies Almanac is a fanzine dedicated to covering the history of martial arts cinema through coverage of notable examples of the genre from all over the world. Together with a series of guest writers--most of them established authors--author/editor Blake Matthews looks at some of the most important martial arts films year by year. For issue #13, we wade waist-deep into the 1980s Ninja Craze, plus some some more masterpieces from Sammo Hung, Yuen Woo-Ping, and Lau Kar-Leung, the kings of the genre.
