The Regulations for the Territorial Army provide, for the command and administration of the units of the Territorial Army, instructions on the training of all members. Officers are expected to be acquainted with them and to observe them strictly in their spirit and intention, while interpreting them reasonably and intelligently, with due regard to the interests of the Service.
