French photographer Bernard Plossu (born 1945) has described photography as "the meeting place between delirium and absolute peace." Europa demonstrates his viewpoint, showing urban Europe in all its speedy, glittering intensity, as well as its serener counterpoint--the gorgeous countrysides.
