Abstracts of Theses is a collection of abstracts from doctoral dissertations written in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science each year. As almost all fields of science, engineering, and the social sciences are represented, this series of volumes should be of interest to organizations and institutions engaged in research, libraries of colleges and universities, and groups supporting private research.
