
The Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) is a co-operative effort among skilled amateur and professional ornithologists to document long-term changes in bird populations. This document presents & discusses BBS data related to Canadian population trends from 1967 to 2000 for the 256 species of birds recorded in the BBS for which sample sizes are sufficient for analysis. Information on data collection & analysis methods is also included.
