This publication documents the exhibition 'Guatemala from 33,000 km: Contemporary Art, 1960-Present' at Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara, as part of the Getty Foundation's Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA initiative. This book features artwork in a range of media that traces the tumultuous history of Guatemala since the mid-twentieth century, and provides a visual record of many works that have been undocumented in print and unseen outside of Guatemala.
