Over the last three years, Mike has spent countless hours researching the rich history of California Community College Wrestling-Junior College Wrestling. In this book he has compiled the results of the four regional state qualifiers; North Regional, North Central Regional, South Regional and South Central Regional. In 1988, The California Community College Athletic Association (governing body) reduced the state qualifiers down to North Regional and South Regional. Along with compiling a large part of the qualifiers, Mike has compiled the California State Championships from 1957 to 2024. His research of the CCCAA or Junior College Wrestling has allowed him to share the rich wrestling history and bring forth the proud tradition of California wrestling. It has produced NCAA wrestling champions and numerous wrestlers who have competed and captured victories at the highest level of competition.
