In two volumes these books are a fitting tribute to one of the world's greatest aircraft, illustrated with over 1,700 black & White images. They cover the chronological history of the Hunter in service in the UK and overseas from design and development to the present day. The Hawker Hunter is a classic postwar aircraft. The Hunter was one of Britain's export success stories and was purchased by 19 countries worldwide. It still remains in service with the Lebanese AF. The 20th July 2011 was the 60th anniversary of the Hunter's maiden flight. The books give the currently known dispositions of every airframe constructed; all 1,972 of them.
