The Town of Granby, Massachusetts has seen more than it's share of murder, rape, robbery, body dumping, and motor vehicle accident. My Grandfather Edward J. Martin Sr. joined the GPD in 1951 shortly after the appointment of the first Chief, William Cloutier. My Grandmother Reda Martin saved many articles and documents even noting the date and time that Pep was called out. I followed him in Law Enforcement myself joining the Amherst force in 1979. Amherst and Granby share only two streets but over the years have worked together many times.
