A project carried out by students, teachers, and parents of the Turin Jewish elementary and secondary schools Colonna de Finzi and Emanuel Artom. Contains testimonies of ca. 50 grandparents of students, who relate their experiences in 1935-45. Inter alia, the testimonies deal with the Racial Laws of 1938 and their effect on Jewish life, the persecution of the Jews during the Nazi occupation from 1943, deportation, concentration camps, and rescue. The testimonies, arranged thematically, are introduced by explanatory notes and accompanied by photos.
