The Magical East investigates ten important sites that became known through the adventures of merchants and explorers who braved the unknown. It covers a time span of more than 4000 years ranging from 2400 BC to AD 1643. The places include: Mohenjo-Daro in India, The Great Wall in China, Yoshinogari in Japan, Ellora in India, Nara in Japan, Angkor in Khampuchea, Easter Island in the Pacific Ocean, Great Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe, The Forbidden City in Beijing, China, The Taj Mahal in Agra, India.
