First edition. W.H. Hudson's writing career began with contributions to the periodical press. Much of this writing was later revised and expanded and makes up the contents of his books. He never became a popular author and did not have a bestseller until John Galsworthy introduced him to the American public in Alfred A. Knopf's edition of Green Mansionsin 1916. This bibliography records all of Hudson's books and pamphlets, contributions to books, contributions to periodicals and translations.
