Excerpt from Museum Stories for Children, Vol. 8: February-April, 1928 This subject was chosen as a tribute to Bimbo a character of the movie, Chang whom most of us will want to remember and learn more about. Bimbo is a gibbon. And the gibbons belong to the group of man-like apes. They are the smallest of the group which includes, besides, the gorilla and chimpanzee of Africa and the orang-utan of the island of Borneo. The home of the gibbons is in the jungles of southeastern Asia, - the Malay penin sula and the surrounding territory, the islands of Sumatra and Borneo which lie between Asia and Australia in the East Indies. The gibbons' chosen country is forest highlands of altitude up to three thousand feet. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
