1925, the filming of Métropolis begins. The cast selected a number of people without any film experience, such as Brigitte Helm, 19, and the requirement of the director made it a very trying test for the actors... But above all, by the time and the context where it is shot, this film announces the arrival of totalitarianism that will ravage Europe and the world a few years later.
