Excerpt from El Palacio, Vol. 20: January 1, 1926 At the conclusion of each field-season, there has been printed in El Palacio a summary of the work done at Pecos during that year by the Department of Archaeology of Phillips Academy. The present report will presumably be the last of the series, for in September the excavations were brought to a close. I wish, therefore, to render a final account of the work and at the same time to convey to the Director and the Regents of the State Museum the deep gratitude felt by the Trustees of Phillips Acad emy and by the members of their Department of Archaeology for the privilege of studying so inter esting and instructive a site.
