This history of the W.O. Bentley, built at Bentley's before the company's acquisition by Rolls-Royce, draws on the archives of the Bentley factory and family to describe the early success and the later decline of these cars. Also included are the engineering story, the finances and the personalities involved in the marque such as Woolf Bartnato and the Bentley boys. The book also includes a list of chassis and engine numbers of both production and competition models.
