Written a no. of years ago by the "voice of British beer drinking" this is a collection by beer connoisseur Richard Boston and includes anecdotes, the history of beer, all about pubs, jokes, poems, recipes.... and "a good deal of spirited invective against the spreading curse of (beer) blandness" by the commercial brewers.
