Lord Nicholas Ramage enters the Royal Navy as a midshipman in 1788 at the age of 13. He becomes a personal favourite of Nelson, and goes on to serve in numerous naval battles and adventures, eventually becoming the captain of the most formidable war machine in the British Navy.
