A well-balanced mix of Nonfiction, General Fiction, Romance and Mystery in the lightweight softcover format preferred by many readers. Selections are a blend of international authors, chosen for the broadest appeal. There are also some carefully selected backlist titles by proven favorite authors. When the body of a man is found in a pub car park, DCI Webb has an uncomfortable sense of deja vu. Years before, another body had been found in almost identical circumstances, and that killer was never caught. Not a believer in coincidence, Webb is hopeful of solving two crimes at the same time. But there's a dissenting voice: Frederick Mace, an eminent criminologist, states publicly his opinion that the murders are not connected. That view generates a lot of publicity, which Webb could well have done without.
