Detective Frank Kavanagh has been transferred to London following a nervous breakdown. Assigned to the case of an abducted lawyer, Kavanagh knows his reputation is on the line. However, this case does not proceed along the established lines and Kavanagh's unorthodox ideas get him into trouble.
