Gus Dixon is campaigning for the payment of reparations to Africa by European governments. He needs leading Africans to help so is attracted to Nigerian politician, Dr Akinye Okigbo. Okigbo sees in Gus a tool to further his political ends - by stealing a priceless mask called the "Dancing Face".
