Classic Poems contains poems and activities covering the specifications set list of pre-1914 poets for Key Stage 3 and 4. It also includes poems from five post-1914 poets.This collection of poetry introduces the secondary student to the rich and varied tradition of English poetry. It is base on the Specifications set list of poets from Wyatt to Yeats, but also includes lesser-know pieces and some surprises. Many of the great poems of the English language are included including: Tennyson’s The Lady of Shalott; Keats’ To Autumn; Coleridge’s Kubla Khan and many others.
