"Active Science 3" comprises a pupil's book, a set of copymaster worksheets for the use of the pupil, a teacher's guide, an assessment activities pack (A), which provides a range of activities that fit naturally into the teaching scheme used (in the form of photocopiable masters) and an assessment activities handbook, which offers guidance to teachers on the use of pack A and which fits into other areas of the curriculum. This set of publications completes the "Active Science" set of materials for Key Stage 3 pupils. This is the teacher's guide covering the whole of Key Stage 3 and giving guidance on using books 1-3 in the "Active Science 3" course. It offers practical guidance for teachers regarding apparatus required, video resources, criteria for assessments, further activity suggestions and special needs factors.
