The role of the Cabinet Office is to support the implementation of Government policies, including helping to deliver key public service priorities, leading the reform programme for public services, and co-ordinating security, intelligence and civil contingencies matters to protect the UK against disruptive challenges. This report reviews the Department's activities and performance against PSA targets, the work of its management units and other services provided to central government and the wider public. This report is part of a series of departmental reports (Cm 6201 to 6231) which, along with the Main Estimates 2004-05 and other documents containing financial and budgetary information, set out the Government's expenditure plans for the years 2003-06.
