This is a non-fiction instructions text for Year 4 children, a recount of building styles through the ages with instructions on how these houses were built. The book can be used in conjunction with other "Spotlight on Fact" resources to support literacy hour sessions focused on non-fiction instructions texts. It contains QCA cross-curricular links to History (units 6A, 6B, 6C and 8).
