Explore extraordinary hand crafts made in traditional ways. Each month Aid to Artisans 1998 features unique examples of works crafted by hand in metal, glass, wood and fabric. In addition to 12 major photos and text describing the objects pictured, the calendar includes additional photos in full-color of craftspeople at work in their native countries. Aid to Artisans is a nonprofit organization which works with artisans to help them market their work, plan funding for production and arrange delivery to customers around the world in order to keep traditional crafts a vibrant part of contemporary culture.
