As the field of regenerative medicine expands to incorporate researchers and technicians working in tissue engineering, stem cells, nuclear transfer (therapeutic cloning), cell, tissue, and organ transplantation, nanotechnology, and bioengineering, there is a need for a fondational reference which provides students, researchers, and technicians who are essentials version of the book to provide the fundamentals.
