This study guide exposes the intermediate level Tajiki learner to language that is common in news reports and, wherever possible, provides repeated exposure to these new forms. Each lesson uses an authentic selection of Tajiki news articles and uses the articles to introduce not only a set of language concepts to the language student, but also some of the self-study skills that will empower language learners to benefit from other news reports (be they oral or written). It includes a 30-page grammar summary, a glossary of Tajiki grammar terms and a comprehensive dictionary of the almost 2,000 words appearing in the book.
