Author Description

In this third volume of memoirs, Robert Ramsay abandons his teaching career in dear old Winterpeg and moves to Victoria, British Columbia, the City of Gardens. His new environment is everything he dreamed of: walks by the sea, hikes through the primeval forest, night bike rides, all enjoyed without those pesky prairie mosquitoes and minus-forty degree weather. Thanks to the confidence of the Chief at the Greater Victoria Water District, he realizes his long-held dream of working with politicians when he is appointed Clerk of the Corporation.
