This gazeteer aims to determine Ottoman spelling and pronunciation of place names from nearly twenty languages ​​and dialects. In addition, changes in place names within the borders of Turkey today and the differences in the administrative status of these places are also shown in detail. The dictionary also serves as a guide for Ottoman historical geography.
