Author Description

The story of General Stanley Castle, who is so disgusted with the current administration that he resigns and decides to run for president. He is encouraged to do so by a "committee" of influential, wealthy bankers and industrialists who want him to run as a third party candidate. When Castle discovers that the committee is using graft and criminal activity to ruin his campaign and elect the incumbent, he uses the military to stage a coup and becomes emperor.
