This is a guide for the vocational consultant and practical workbook which brings career development theory and practice to everyone on the threshold of starting with a career, or to the person in the process of making a career change. Many people are unsure or misinformed about their own abilities and what is required of them in a particular occupation. They may also have to find out more about opportunities in the career market. It must be stressed however, that the workbook must be used under the guidance of a trained professional as stipulated in Act 57 of 1974. the book is very suitable for use in career guidance classrooms, in career development workshops or in one- to-one counselling situations.
