Strathcona Provincial Park is the oldest and largest park in British Columbia and the only park on Vancouver Island. This master plan defines the role of the park, establishes the objectives and desired actions to guide the management and development, and provides direction on a number of key park issues, including proposed additions, air access, wildlife management, mountain bike and horse management, and outdoor recreation. The plan also describes the public's expectations for the park based on an extensive public involvement process.
