
A project with the objective of identifying new grape varieties that would improve the quality and diversity of varietal and blended wines produced in British Columbia was summarized in an earlier report. This supplement presents the data for the tasting of the wines produced from the 1991 vintage. Some of the data presented in the summary report is repeated to make reading and use of this supplement more convenient. The conclusion presented in this supplement updates the information developed from the project. The section of the document discussing enology covers crush and fermentation of white and red varieties, cellaring and bottling and winemaking protocol for 1991 wines. Another section provides information on sensory evaluation.
