This publication assists nursery personnel in identifying and managing diseases and insects in B.C. forest seedling nurseries. It contains information on pest prevention and diagnosis, plus general information and references on chemical control. This is followed by sections on: diseases affecting seeds, roots or root collar area; shoot diseases; insects affecting roots or root collar area; and insects and mites affecting shoots. It also provides tables of minor diseases and insects and a glossary of pest related terms.
