"This book recounts the birth, development, and legacy of the Mennonite Brethren Bible College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was a Christian Bible college owned by the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches that existed from 1944 to 1992. In the book, the author highlights the contributions and struggles during each of the periods marked by who was the college president during the time. There is a chapter for each presidential era. The book includes a chapter of analysis, assessing the defining issues/challenges that spanned the college's life. The author concludes by describing the legacy left by those who attended and taught at the school. There are 49 photos in the book and a table showing faculty members and their terms of service, as well as bibliographic list of references and an index of names and subjects."--
