With twenty-somethings delaying their entry into adult roles of marriage and parenthood, the question emerges: What and how are they doing? Are they flourishing or floundering? As shown in this volume, emerging adults in the US are often in active pursuit of making meaning of their lives, being exposed to a wider variety of religious and spiritual beliefs systems through their extended families, peers, religious communities, universities, and the media. Consequently, many emerging adults in the US choose to sample from a variety of traditions rather than maintaining their childhood religious doctrine.
