This book focuses on the question of whether the student is a 'free, responsible, moral agent,' or whether his actions are predetermined by causal conditions in his environment. The authors posit a Christian perspective of freedom and argue that it is wholly compatible with the 'discipline' that students need and even want. This volume was taken from the Conferences on Christian Approaches to Learning Theory held at Trinity Christian College in 1983, 1984, and 1985.
