These deficiencies benefit a select few politicians and government officials, while millions of citizens remain impoverished. This grim reality is evident in several ways; here are some important examples: Election rigging is rampant, and voter's turnout is consistently low at fifty to sixty percent. The income tax department system fails to reach the majority of potential taxpayers, with only twenty percent paying taxes. Courts are inundated with corruption cases, yet only ten percent results in convictions after a lengthy and expensive trial. Corruption in government procurements contracts is widespread, and despite significant budget allocations, hospitals often lack essential medicines, leading to preventable deaths. The economic disparity continues to widen, with the poor struggling to survive while the rich grow wealthier each year. Many countries lack directives to address the gap between the rich and poor.
