"A very large portion of transportation activity within Canada occurs within an area known as the Quebec City-Windsor Corridor (QWC). This corridor contains roughly half of Canada's population and about 85% of the Quebec and Ontario populations, and nearly all of the major urban centres in these two provinces are located in the corridor. Consequently, any meaningful movement towards sustainable transportation will need to focus on this corridor.
