This last edition of the year contains a double Christmas present for all you Babylon 5 fans. Not only a triumphant return from Claudia Christian aided by Chris McAuley, but also a dark cyberpunk story cowritten by Peter Jurasik, who played Londo in the TV series. We follow with more news from the SF publishing world, courtesy of Mickey Mickelson, and a gnostic Christmas poem from Sandro de Fossemò. EW Farnsworth follows with another trip down Picklock Lane and Joan d’Arc shares a festive tale of the afterlife.

Haunted Wales is our next stop in Keith Davies’s Heartsease, which is followed by an apocalyptic extravaganza from Simon Bleaken. Andrew Darlington returns with a tale of the far future, while Lucian Krayle takes a taxi ride into Hell. Foxes, fish and goblins haunt our ensuing tales before Carlton Herzog entertains us with some unearthly found footage. Kassi battles pirates aboard the Shadow Queen, Amsterdam is the scene of a lycanthropic encounter, Christopher T Dabrowski rounds off the stories with an android romance. And my contribution is a review of another sword and sorcery epic.
