Solar energy is the most important ancient source of energy and is the base of all renewable & nonrenewable sources. This book concerns with one of the ideas which helps us to make use of solar energy to generate electricity by using a parabolic high temperature solar collector to generate steam with respect to simple Rankine cycle. Project consists of: 1- A steam generator (parabolic high temperature solar collector) with a tube of stainless covered by glass tube. 2- A water pump. 3- A steam Turbine. 4- A tracking system foe the parabolic trough.
