Part of an integrated Spanish programme designed to help students gain a working knowledge of the language, the series comprises a grammar text, a workbook, a literary reader, a cultural reader and an activities book. The books all share a common grammatical and thematic organization which should facilitate a flexible approach to teaching. The books all increase in difficulty at about the same rate. This reader introduces readers to various aspects of contemporary and traditional culture in the Spanish-speaking world. Readings are accompanied by activities. The readings include interviews given by Spanish people on a variety of themes.
