Pacific Asia is the fastest growing region in the world, and its very large cities--world cities--have spearheaded economic growth and social and cultural transformation in the area.This book examines these world cities--including Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the major cities of China.
