Rosemary Purvis committed the perfect crime. She was home living the role of the perfect wife while her husband was being kidnaped in broad daylight on his way to work. She even showed the proper degree of grief when the ransom note was accidentally delivered by her husband’s secretary. The perfect crime got even better when the FBI agent investigating the case fell in love with her just before he solved the case and realized she was the mastermind behind the crime. The crime became almost too perfect when the agent confronted her, then drove down the winding drive, stopped, swallowed the barrel of his weapon and pulled the trigger. Her plan reached perfect when her husband died while trying to escape by swimming the river that flowed in front of the cabin where he was held hostage...and the alligators ate well that night. It really was the perfect crime...at first.
