The varied topics in this book could in their own right serve as seminal works worthy of a thousand pages, but this book is intended to put forth a brief glimpse of the current thoughts and ideas of the authors herein. Credit is given to the research project on 'Sustainable Development and Sustainability: Models and Measurements in Malaysia. This book is but a brief introduction of what is yet to come. Already, another series of discussion has begun to kick-start further tomes that will ferry ideas, theories, concepts, approaches and techniques, drawing on the topic here in this book and on subjects matters that lie close to LESTARI's heart. It is hoped that this stepping-stone of woven alphabets will serve to contribute to the enormous growing corpus of knowledge on sustainable development and sustainability.
