The European Community Atlas of Avoidable Death: 1985-1989 examines a selection of potentially unnecessary and untimely deaths, and is the third to be published following the EC Concerted Action Project on Health Services and 'Avoidable Death'. New to this edition are essays written by representatives in each country that describe recent and ongoing work relevant to the 'Avoidable deaths' study. The book is illustrated with color maps thoughout.
