Product Description Presented here are historical and contemporary case studies, analysis, and theoretical perspectives on moving images from different historical periods. Examples are taken from classic Hollywood cinema, the postclassic Hollywood era, classic and modern European cinema, nonfiction and documentary forms in film and television, the new deregulated era of television, and the digital revolution of media. This anthology directs attention to the ways in which different methodologies and theories in film and media studies can supplement one another, rather than being parts of different scientific worlds and models of thought. About the Author Ib Bondebjerg is a research professor at the department of film and media studies at the University of Copenhagen. He is the author of Electronic Fictions, Film and Modernity, and Television in Scandinavia.
