Sexual abuse is prevalent in a young girl these days. As a victim of incest and sexual abuse, Ava believes that if parents start sensitising little girls early about setting boundaries with their bodies, we can make this occurrence less often. While we cannot tell them outright at such a tender age, we can prepare them to understand the places on their bodies that anyone cannot touch. She hopes that parents will read THE BLACK BALLERINA AND HER CASTLE and use it to teach their daughters about the parts of their bodies that are to be locked in her castle.
